ROBYG Group in Q1 2019 contracted 600 premises /gross/ in Warsaw, Wrocław and Gdańsk. Due to prolonged administrative procedures, the Young City 2 project has not obtained a permit for the construction. At the same time, additional arrangements were necessary in connection with the second metro line – therefore the Group decided to terminate 140 sale agreements for housing in the Young City 2 project. Consequently – net contracting amounted to 472 units. In 2019 - while maintaining the current market trends - contracting should reach the level of approximately 2700 units, which is more than in 2018, in which 2520 apartments were sold.
ROBYG Group noted revenue of over PLN 1 billion in 2018 – which means a growth of over 40% y / y and takes the income from handing over over 2700 units. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company amounted to PLN 134 million, or 21% more than in 2017. EBIT reached PLN 224 million, which i san increase by almost 29% comparing to 2017.
„2018 was a good year for the Group both regarding both: contracting – 2520 units, as well as revenues – over PLN 1 billion. At the same time, based on market experience and trends, the Management Board has set a challenging sales target for 2019 – at the level of 2700 units. As evidenced by the results of the first quarter, this goal is achievable – especially since more and more new investments’ stages are being launched. Therefore, the Group’s sales potential is growing for the next quarters. It should also be emphasized that the first investment in Wrocław is very well sold, in which about 900 premises are to be constructed. In 2018, ROBYG purchased land worth approximately PLN 200 million, allowing it to build over 4,000 units. This year, the Group intends to continue expanding the land bank at least by land enabling the number of units to be built at the annual contracting level. The company wants to offer its clients the widest possible range of convenient locations and suburbs. Taking into account the potential of the Group and the trust that is being marketed and the vast housing needs of Poles, The yaer 2019 has very good sales prospects for the Group.
